шнобель

шнобель m [šnobel’]

Honker, big nose. Loaned from German through Yiddish Schnabel (“beak”). Used casually to point out or joke about someone’s prominent facial feature (у него такой шнобель, ни с кем не перепутаешь — “he has such a massive schnoz, you could never mistake him for anyone else”).

Тут выходит Дейч, весь одухотворённый, в скверик, со своим жидовским шнобелем наперевес, и руками помавает в воздухе.

Here comes Deich, all enlightened, into the little park, with his Jewish nose leading the way, waving his hands in the air.
