сопатка

сопатка f [sopatka]

Snoot, beak, nose. Derived from the dialectal and standard Russian word сопать or сопеть (to sniffle, breathe heavily through the nose). In colloquial speech and mild slang, it is a humorous or slightly derogatory term used to describe a large nose or a child’s runny nose.

Кровавые сопли забивали ему сопатку, он отсмаркивался, пятясь и прикрывая лицо локтями.

Bloody snot was clogging his hooter, he blew his nose, moving backwards and hiding his face with his elbows.
