очко
очко n [očko] (блат)
Arsehole, bunghole, chocolate colon; point. Derived from the Old East Slavic око (eye), using the diminutive suffix -ко to originally mean “little eye”. In everyday slang, it has two completely distinct meanings. Anatomically, it is a vulgar, crude term for the anus (у него очко сыграло — “he chickened out”). In games, sports, and gambling, it is the standard, neutral word for a point or score.

очковтирательство n [očkovtiratel’stvo]
Eyewash, window dressing, lip service, BS, smoke and mirrors, pulling the wool over someone’s eyes. It is literally translated as “rubbing [ointment/dust] into the spectacles”. It historically originated in the 19th century from card-cheating slang (where cheaters subtly altered face cards during play) but quickly evolved into a political and bureaucratic metaphor for systemic deception.
Президент Узбекистана продолжил очковтирательство.
The President of Uzbekistan continued with the deception.
