Broad, bitch, daredevil. Colloquial noun used to describe a reckless, fiercely independent, and untamable person (most frequently a young woman or a child, though it can apply to anyone). It comes from the verb оторвать (to tear off), metaphorically signifying someone who has “broken away” from societal norms, constraints, or parental control.
