Shagger, fucker, stud, lover, gigolo. Derived from the primary mat verb ебать (to fuck), combined with the agentive suffix -арь (denoting a person who performs a specific action). In everyday street slang, it is a highly explicit, vulgar noun used to describe a sexually active man, a woman’s male sexual partner, or a habitual seducer (это новый ёбарь её подруги — “that’s her friend’s new shag”). While it can occasionally be used with a touch of cynical envy to mean a “stud”, it is overwhelmingly pejorative, carrying a crude, disrespectful, or dismissive tone toward the man or the relationship.
