шароёбиться

шароёбиться v ipf [šarojobit’sja] (мат)

To loiter, to wander aimlessly, to roam around; to hang out, to waste time, to dilly-dally. Derived from a combination of the noun шар (ball/sphere) or the slang verb шариться (to rummage/wander), merged with the highly productive, aggressive mat root еб- / ёб- (fuck) and the reflexive suffix -ся. It is a very common, high-energy slang verb used to describe someone moving around with no clear purpose, hanging out in the streets, loitering in public spaces, or killing time (хватит шароёбиться по торговому центру, пошли домой — “stop loitering around the mall, let’s go home”). It can also imply sneaking around or wandering in places one shouldn’t be.

Отправились шароёбиться по городу и поставили рекорд по количеству натыренного. Вина и закуски к оным, пиво и т.д.

We went to hang out in town and broke the record for the amount of stolen things. Wine and snacks included, as was beer and so on.
