It has two main applications: 1. to describe an object, text, movie, or product of incredibly low quality, utility, or value (что это за хуета? — “what kind of junk is this?”); 2. to dismiss someone’s words, ideas, or an entire situation as absolute nonsense, lies, or a chaotic mess (он несёт какую-то хуету — “he is talking some absolute bullshit”).
