A heavy, highly insulting noun derived from the verb ублюдовать (historically meaning to degenerate or cross-breed, originally referring to a half-breed animal or an illegitimate child). Today, it is used purely as a severe personal insult: 1. A direct, emotionally charged term for a cruel, despicable, or worthless person (ты — мерзкий ублюдок — “you are a vile bastard”); 2. Used to describe someone who has committed a heinous or highly immoral act (этот ублюдок украл у неё всё — “that scumbag stole everything from her”).
