To shit, to crap; to not care, to give a damn. Derived from the Proto-Slavic root *serati. In its literal sense, it is the standard vulgar verb for defecation (птица насрала на капот — “a bird shat on the hood”). In everyday slang, it is incredibly common in figurative expressions denoting extreme indifference, usually combined with the prefix на- (мне насрать — “I don’t give a shit/damn”). It can also mean to do a terrible job or create a mess for someone.

Leonid was throwing up, Sergey shat and almost everyone had a fever slightly below 38 °C.
