Snout, mug, face. Derived from the standard verb рыть (to dig or root up, as animals do with their noses). In everyday slang, it is a highly insulting, animalistic noun for a human face, explicitly stripping away a person’s dignity by comparing them to a beast (тебе рыло начищу — “I’ll smash your ugly mug”). It is also used to count people in a crudely dismissive, objectifying manner, similar to counting heads of livestock (вышло по сто рублей mit рыла — “it came out to a hundred rubles a pop/per snout”).
у нас в универе водка покупалась из расчета литр на рыло. с учетом того, что все равно потом 2 раза бегать:)
