родки

родки pl [rodki]

Parents, folks, the old man and old dear. One’s mother and father, used almost exclusively by teenagers, students, or adults speaking casually about family dynamics (родки уехали на дачу, хата свободна — “the rents went to the cottage, the house is free”).

Хочу купить себе мотоцикл а родки против, что мне им сказать чтобы переубедить их?

I want to buy a motorcycle, but my old ones are against it, what could I say to make them change their mind?
