Mat, bedding, groundsheet; door mat, pushover, slut / loose woman. Derived from the verb подостлать (to lay or spread underneath), its literal meaning is any material used as a bedding, rug, or litter for animals. In figurative street slang, it has two heavily derogatory paths: either a “door mat” (a spineless pushover who lets others walk all over them) or, more frequently, an insulting term for a submissive, promiscuous woman or a collaborator/sellout (натовская подстилка — “NATO sellout”).
Кто бы не ловил этих шлюх, из сопротивления или нет, это не отменяет того факта что они именно шлюхи и немецкие подстилки.
Whoever caught these whores, whether out of resistance or not, it doesn’t change the fact that they are exactly that — whores and German sluts.
