Bullshitter, bull artist, compulsive liar, windbag. Derived from the core mat root пизд- (associated with the female genitalia), modified by the agent noun suffix -ун to denote a person who performs the action. In everyday slang, it is a highly charged, derogatory term for a person who constantly lies, exaggerates, talks nonsense, or fails to back up their boasts with actions (не верь ему, он обычный пиздун — “don’t believe him, he’s just a bullshitter”). While it is primarily used to call out deceit, it can sometimes carry a slightly less aggressive, mocking tone when describing a harmless but annoying storyteller or windbag.
