To copulate, literally “to insert the stick”. Used as a blunt, graphic metaphor for a man penetrating a sexual partner, often carrying a casual, purely physical, or locker-room tone (он мечтает вставить ей палку — “he’s dying to bone her”).
Такой эффект у меня уже был от посещения неподмытой мадам, правда тогда я вторую палку поставить так и не смог — уж больно запах был сильный.
I’ve had this effect before from visiting an unwashed madam; I truly couldn’t go for a second round — the smell was too strong.
