объёб

объёб m [ob”job]

Scam, rip-off, swindle, raw deal, deception. Derived from the core mat root еб- (associated with the sexual act), modified by the prefix об- (denoting encompassing, bypassing, or deceiving) and a shift to a noun form. In everyday slang, it is a vulgar term for a systematic trick, financial fraud, or an unfair situation where someone was thoroughly cheated or short-changed (эта сделка — сплошной объёб — “this deal is a total rip-off”). It can also refer to a state of severe intoxication or being dazed.

Достижения современной российской чудо-техники продемонстрировали на форуме Путина — это робот Борис.
Блин, и здесь опять объеб!

The achievements of modern Russian wonder technology were demonstrated at Putin’s forum — it’s the robot Boris.
Damn, it’s bullshit again!

объебать v pf [ob”ebat’] (мат)

To deceive, to cheat, to screw over, to rip off. Derived from the prefix об- (meaning around, completely, or bypassing) and the root ёб- (to fuck). In everyday slang, it is a highly expressive, aggressive verb used to describe successfully deceiving someone, tricking them out of money, or gaining an unfair advantage through cunning or fraud (меня опять объебали на вокзале — “I got ripped off at the station again”). It implies a total, often humiliating triumph over the victim’s gullibility.

Когда тебе уделяют слишком много внимания — значит тебя хотят либо объебать, либо выебать!

When you are getting too much attention it means you’re either going to be conned or fucked!

объёбка f [ob”jobka] (мат)

Rip-off, scam, trick. Derived from the vulgar root ебать (to fuck) with the prefix об- (around, over, implying deception or bypassing). In strong slang, it is a crude noun used to describe a deceptive trick, a financial scam, an unfair deal, or an intentional lie designed to cheat someone out of something.

Это не магазин а объёбка — нихуя не высылают а деньги себе забирают.

It’s not a shop but a fraud, they don’t send shit but take the money.
