Bad luck, bummer, misfortune. Derived from the verb переть (to move forward, flow, succeed) with the negative prefix не-. In colloquial speech, it signifies a streak of persistent bad luck, a lack of success, or a situation where nothing goes right.
Ну так вот следом подошел второй троллейбус, туда я не успела… снова… Непруха, блин, тотальная!
Well, so the second trolleybus came right up and I did not make it… again… Just my bloody luck!!
