To beat up, to thrash, to wallop; to exhaust, to wear out; to toil, to slave away. Derived from the vulgar slang root муд- (historically connected to муде — testicles), combined with the verbal suffix -охать to form a highly versatile and expressive verb. In everyday street slang, it carries three main meanings: first, it means to physically beat someone up or thrash them thoroughly (его вчера толпой мудохали — “he got beaten up by a crowd yesterday”); second, in its reflexive form (мудохаться), it means to struggle tirelessly with a difficult task or to slave away at something tedious (я весь день мудохался с этим движком — “I’ve been tinkering with this engine all day”); third, it can mean to completely exhaust or wear someone out (эта работа меня совсем мудохает — “this work is completely wiping me out”).
Я раньше был скином, тупым мясом, ходил себе в компании, хачей мудохал, а дела толкового собственно и не делал.
I used to be a skinhead, dumb meat, hang out with the gang, beat the shit out of darkies and did not actually do anything meaningful.
