Bottle of vodka with a volume of 0.1 litre (0.17 pints). Historically refers to a specific, tiny volume of vodka (traditionally ⅛ of a bottle, or about 125 ml), though in modern Russian everyday life and alcohol culture, it is used generically for any miniature bottle of strong spirits (usually 50 ml to 100 ml).
