Blunder; joint, spliff. Derived from the Proto-Slavic *kōsъ (slanted, crooked). In everyday slang, it has two massive figurative meanings. First, it is the universal Russian word for a mistake, blunder, or defect caused by carelessness (это мой косяк, я всё исправлю — “that’s my screw-up, I’ll fix everything”). Second, in cannabis culture, it is the standard term for a rolled marijuana cigarette (скрутить косяк — “to roll a joint”).
