Wasted, pissed up, drunk. Colloquial usage meaning completely wasted, tipsy, or out of it (он пришёл домой абсолютно косой — “he came home completely plastered”).
Продавщица потихоньку трезвела (конечно, она была косая!), но все-таки взять в толк ничего не могла: «А как узнать, как узнать…»
