кидалово

кидалово n [kidalovo] (нарк)

Rip-off, scam, swindle. A highly popular colloquial noun born in the chaotic economic landscape of the 1990s post-Soviet era, derived from the slang verb кинуть (literally “to throw,” but meaning to cheat, dump, or scam someone). It describes a situation where someone is deliberately deceived, cheated out of money, or left empty-handed after a deal. While cynical and informal street slang, it contains no mat and is completely clean of severe vulgarity.

Даже самый оконченный аферист способен на честный бизнес, если убедить его, что долгосрочные отношениая будут ему выгоднее единовременного кидалова.

Even the most hardened crook can do fair business if you convince him that long term relationships will be more profitable for him than one-time rip-offs.
