Mutt, small, scrawny or sick dog. Derived from a conditional-subjunctive construction: the conjunction кабы (if only / would that) and the past tense verb сдох (died / croaked, from сдохнуть). Literally, it translates to “if only it would just croak already”.
Всякие кабысдохи вроде пекинесов и йорктерьеров — не собаки!
