засрать

засрать v pf [zasrat’]

To trash, to slag off, to ruin; to cover in shit, to bad-mouth, to clutter up. A highly popular and versatile vulgar verb built on the root срать (to shit) with the prefix за- (denoting completion, covering, or overdoing). Its exact meaning depends on whether it is used literally or figuratively: 1. To make a place incredibly messy, dirty, or full of rubbish (засрали всю комнату — “they’ve completely trashed the whole room”); 2. To harshly bad-mouth, mock, or leave terrible reviews about someone or something (критики полностью засрали новый фильм — “the critics absolutely slagged off the new film”); 3. To botch a situation or break an object (он умудрился засрать весь проект — “he managed to completely cock up the entire project”).

Путин понял что Крым придётся вернуть и из Чёрного моря уйти и решил назло врагам всё засрать, выводит старые баржи в море, топит и щедро заливает всю акваторию мазутом и нефтью, ни себе ни людям, это на него похоже..

Putin has apparently realized that Crimea will have to be returned and that Russia will have to leave the Black Sea. Out of spite toward his enemies, he seems determined to leave a mess behind: old barges are taken out to sea, sunk, and large amounts of fuel oil and crude oil are released into the waters. Neither benefiting himself nor anyone else—that would certainly be in character for him.
