Idiot, psycho, complete nutcase, lunatic, total arsehole. Used as a severe pejorative for a person who acts with extreme stupidity, irrationality, or erratic, dangerous behaviour (какой ебонат это придумал? — “what kind of idiot came up with this?”). Unlike simpler insults, it strongly implies that the target is completely unhinged or completely devoid of common sense.
Эта тачка даже тронуться не может с первого раза чаще всего. А хозяин понавешал всяких антикрылов, фонарей, круглых «насадок» на фары и конечно же пресловутых переделок и думает что он самый крутой в мире на офигенно крутой тачке. Таким само собой пдд не писаны и проехать на красный для такого — святое.
Откуда только берутся такие ебонаты, непонятно.
This car can’t even move on the first try most of the time. And the owner has slapped on all sorts of spoilers, lights, round “attachments” on the headlights, and of course the infamous modifications, thinking he’s the coolest guy in the world in a super-cool car. For such people, traffic rules obviously don’t apply, and running a red light is sacred.
Where such complete idiots come from is unclear.
