Jerking off, jacking off, wanking, masturbation. Derived from the verb дрочить (to masturbate). It is used literally, but it is also incredibly common in figurative contexts to describe wasting time, engaging in pointless, repetitive, or overly meticulous work, or stalling (хватит заниматься дрочением, давайте уже работать — “stop jerking around/wasting time, let’s actually get to work”).
