Derived from ебать (to fuck), combined with the prefix до- (denoting reaching a limit, completion, or intensity) and the reflexive particle -ся. In everyday street slang, it is a highly profane, aggressive verb with two primary meanings: first, to randomly or provocatively accost someone on the street, seeking a confrontation or trying to start a fight (к нам у подъезда доебались какие-то гопники — “some gopniks randomly accosted us near the entrance”); second, to relentlessly nitpick, badger, or find fault with someone’s work, appearance, or behavior over trivial matters (препод доебался до каждой запятой в курсовой — “the professor nitpicked every single comma in my term paper”).
