груз 200

груз 200 m [gruz dvesti] (военн.)

Military slang for the transport of a coffin, also used as a ephemism for fallen soldier, lit. “cargo 200”. Derives from the number of a directive issued in 1984 during the Afghan war and made widely known by a 2007 film of the same name.

Это ленд-лиз идёт в Украину. В том же темпе из Украины в РФ пойдет «Груз-200».

This lend-lease goes to Ukraine. With the same temp coffins are going from Ukraine to Russia.
